The Prayerful Word - July 4

  • Matthew 25:40 The King will reply, “…whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you did for Me.”

Isaiah 61:1 Isaiah said, “The spirit of the LORD God is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me; he has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to the prisoners.”

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see {and} the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

John 20:29 Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

Matthew 20:26-28 …Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave – 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many

1 Timothy 2:1-2 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.

May you press in to, and be desperate for, the righteousness of the Lord, making it your one desire above all the world offers, for He is your only refuge and shelter from the storm which is coming. 2 Kings 23

May you humble yourself before the Lord and seek to serve Him with a poor and contrite spirit, for yours will be the kingdom of heaven, even when the nations of the earth crumble. 2 Kings 24

May you abide in the vine, letting your focus be single and your purpose be set, determined that you will cling to the Branch from which your life comes, and trust in the Root, which is holy and true. 2 Kings 25

May you practice true religion, plain and simple, without artifacts or relics, but from the heart, in purity of spirit, with bridled tongue and open hands toward others in love and mercy, even as the Father has given to you, for the enemy will destroy the material things, but if you are hid in the Rock, you will be saved. 2 Kings 25, James 1

My child, bring your needs to Me.
To be needy is not to be in the flesh, or unspiritual, but to be alive. Only the dead have no more needs, and I have made you alive through the power of My resurrection. To say you have no needs is to deny My truth and to walk in a lie, for all children have needs, and it is natural for them to turn to their Father to have them met. Why, then, would you not turn to Me to supply what you need?
Look to your heart, My child, and see with My eyes. Do you look to other sources than Me to provide your resources? Those are idols, My wandering one; they give foul food and dirty water, bringing corruption into your life. Turn from them, and drink deeply from My well of living water, eating to your satisfaction from My table of truth that strengthens you in the inner parts.
Do you say that you have no needs, as you are complete and fully taken care of in all ways? That is pride, My willful one; I have only one Son Who is complete and without needs, and you are not Him. Release your pride, see with My eyes, understand that you are poor, naked, blind, and come to Me for all that you lack. I will give you freely, without criticism, the righteousness of Christ to cover you like fine white linen, and you can receive My nature engrafted in your heart, precious as gold tried in the fire.
I desire to equip you, My unprepared one, for there is much work to be done. The harvest is ripe, My unaware child, and there is much that is waiting for those who are willing. Remain in My Word, seek My heart in prayer, remain attentive to My Spirit, for only as you are aligned with My will and agreed in heart can we walk together.
Join Me, My dear one, and know the true riches of heaven as the work of My kingdom is done.

May you be true to the heavenly vision you have received and serve faithfully the Master Who has saved you, abides with you, and will fully redeem you, for though sorrow lasts through the night, joy comes in the morning. Acts 22

May you not allow cultural prejudices and social traditions to dismiss the will of God or steal the truth of the Gospel from your heart, for His will shall be established in the earth as it is in heaven, and the knowledge of the glory of the Lord shall fill the earth, but those who turn from it will be lost. Acts 22

May you be hid in Christ, wherein all treasures of wisdom and knowledge are found, for as you have died to yourself and to the world, you are sheltered from, and have no part in, the wrath of the Lord which terrifies the people who plot against God and the anger with which He rebukes the kings and rulers who stand together against the Lord and His anointed to reject His commands and throw off His constraints. Psalm 2

May you proclaim the decree of the Lord so that the kings and rulers of the earth may be wise and choose to serve the Lord with fear, rejoicing before the Son with trembling, lest He be angry and His wrath, which can destroy in a moment, does not flare up, for blessed are all who take refuge in Him. Psalm 2

May you give the honor of listening and grant the gift of your time to hear the matter thoroughly and consider the issue completely, for hasty speech exhibits impatience and self-conceit and a hasty answer will be rash and incomplete, bringing shame and confusion. Proverbs 18:13
