Jeremiah 17:7 Blessed are those who trust in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD.

Jonah 1:3 Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship.…[Then] he went aboard and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Lord.

Acts 10:19-20 While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, 'Simon, three men are looking for you. 20 So get up and go downstairs. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them.'"

Exodus 4:10 Moses said to the LORD, 'O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since You have spoken to Your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue'

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

May you prefer the substance of a good name, which is the result of hard work from the inside out, over a fine perfume, which too often covers over the lack of responsibility. Ecclesiastes 7

May you have eyes to see and wisdom to understand that the day of death, which is the end of the matter, the destiny of every person, is better than the day of birth, the beginning of the time of learning, for it is better to finally see the face of God at the end of the journey than to start the long journey. Ecclesiastes 7

May you draw wise conclusions from the fact that the heart of a fool will be found in the house of pleasure, never in the house of mourning, and make your choices appropriately. Ecclesiastes 7

May you not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger is always found residing in the laps of fools. Ecclesiastes 7

May you value wisdom over money, for though they both carry benefits and each provide shelter, your life is preserved by wisdom. Ecclesiastes 7

May you feel free to be happy when times are good, but when times are bad, consider that God has made the one as well as the other, and who can straighten what He has made crooked? Ecclesiastes 7

May you see and understand that the person who fears God will avoid all extremes. Ecclesiastes 7

May you be like the wise man, for the wisdom of God brightens a man's face and changes its hard appearance. Ecclesiastes 8

May you not be in a hurry to leave the King's presence, for whoever obeys His command will come to no harm, and the wise of heart will know the proper time and way. Ecclesiastes 8

May you know that it will go better with God-fearing men, who are reverent before God, than with a wicked man who commits a hundred crimes and still lives a long time, for it will not end well with those who fear not God and their days will not lengthen like a shadow. Ecclesiastes 8

My child, refresh yourself in My Spirit. Drink deeply of the living water. Let My peace flow throughout your being, and feel My joy rise up within your heart. Know that I am Lord, in name and in fact, and all responsibilities rest on Me, for I have been given all authority and power.
Do not try to carry the burdens of the world, My love, but join with Me in the fellowship of sharing both the joys and the sorrows of the path we walk together. Joy shared is joy multiplied, My dear one, and sorrow shared is sorrow divided. Only as you draw near to Me, and abide in Me, will My joy become the strength you need to share the sorrow of My compassion.
Seek My heart in prayer, My near one, as My Spirit guides you in your solitary times, and dig deeply in My word, My precious one, for the treasures I have embedded there for you.
An earthly king may have many sons, and he must know each child by their heart and character to assign them appropriate duties, for not all of them have a heart for the diligence of righteous ruling. I see your heart, My caring one, and know the desire you carry for I placed it there when I formed you. Remain steadfast, even in the fiery trials, seeking Me when the tempter offers you a shortcut or a way out, for I have made a way of escape from his temptations.
You are always My child, accepted and loved, cherished and valued; no power can separate you from My love. As you persist in asking, as you continue seeking, as you keep on knocking, as you embrace My chastisements of love, as you endure the fiery trial of training, you are changed from glory to glory.
You are being transformed into the very image of the One the Father loves, called forth into His work to walk with Me in My wisdom and grace, joint-heirs with Me, mature and balanced, meek in My strength, submitted and obedient, an overcomer who is able to be about the Father's business.

May you eat and drink and be glad in the work God has given you, for then joy will accompany you all the days of your life. Ecclesiastes 8

May you do with all your might, as unto Him, whatever your hands are led by God to do. Ecclesiastes 9

May you benefit from the knowledge that the quiet words of the wise are more to be heeded than the shouts of a ruler of fools. Ecclesiastes 9

May you not walk in worldly sorrow, which brings death, but in godly sorrow which bring repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, developing earnestness, eagerness to clear yourselves from the stain of sin, indignation, alarm and concern over evil, longing and readiness to see justice done, proving yourselves at every point to be innocent of involvement in wickedness. 2 Corinthians 7

May your walk in the Spirit and your desire to obey the Lord, your hunger for the Word and your willingness to share the Father's compassion by extending His grace and mercy to His lost ones, bring encouragement and confidence to those who pray for you. 2 Corinthians 7

May you see, just as you have heard, how, in the city of the Lord Almighty, He makes His beloved secure forever. Psalm 48

May you meditate in the temple of God on His unfailing love, for like His name, His praise reaches to the ends of the earth, His right hand is filled with righteousness, and the people of the towns are glad because of His judgments. Psalm 48

May the God of Zion be your God and your guide for ever, even to the end. Psalm 48

May you pay attention and listen to the wise sayings of the Lord, applying your heart to what He teaches, since it is pleasing to Him when you keep the Word of God in your heart and have it ready on your lips; because He teaches you so that your trust may be in the Lord. Proverbs 22:17-19
