I asked the Father to help me not be prideful, because pride goes before destruction. This is what He said. "Remember you are a daughter of the King and a servant of the people. It's not 'either or' it's 'both and'." Then the scripture came to mind from Luke 12:48b (NKJV) where it says "... For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more." Luke 12:48 in the Passion Translation says, "Every servant who does not know his master's will and unwittingly does what is wrong will receive a less severe punishment. For those who have received a greater revelation from their master are required a greater obedience. And those who have been entrusted with great responsibility will be held more responsible to their master." Sobering words.
