Manifestation (1)

  • This subject matter is one we have discussed often in previous blogs. Usually it was associated with a teaching on healing. However, it can be applied for provision, peace, joy, or any number of truths that are ours through Christ Jesus.

We have studied and proven that our healing was already accomplished through the finished work on the cross. You can study that again for yourself in any number of teachings on this website. So many scriptures prove that.

We constantly have discussed that we don’t have to continue to beg God for healing, and actually that to continue to ask and beg is wrong believing and in error. So then why aren’t healings taking place? So many possible responses here, but the one I want to discuss is manifestation.

I was up early this morning, as usual here in Costa Rica, and was pondering this whole subject of healing. I was resting in that secret place so that I could join the conversation in heaven between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

My interest was to find out what they were saying about my legs, my wife's shoulders and knees, strange sicknesses on little babies, the increase in cancer cases in the body of Christ, the increase in miscarriages, and so many other things where people are struggling with illnesses, aches and pains.

All of a sudden I found myself around that familiar round table in heavenly places and heard the Father say – “There are many who just have not yet received the revelation that their healing is complete in my Son. That’s why they keep asking and begging for their healings”. It was at this point that He started to pour out the following to me.

    Romans 3:20-22 (KJV).

20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in His sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Right there I started to get a hint of where He was taking my mind and thinking. Basically, He was showing me through scripture that the keeping of the law, works oriented performance based Christianity is a hindrance to healing being manifested in the believer’s life. What am I doing wrong? I’m going to church, I’m tithing, I’m praying, I’m reading my bible, why won’t you heal me? Again, it’s not based on what we do, it’s all based on what Jesus has already done. We’ll see more as this lesson unfolds.

    21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Did you see that “But”? It’s another one of those big buts in the bible.

22 even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

    1 Corinthians 12:7 (KJV).

7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

    2 Corinthians 4:10 (KJV).

10 always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

We always hear the religious sounding statement that Jesus lives inside me. The problem is, we don’t receive the revelation of what that means. The sinless, healing, all powerful God of the universe lives within us. That means we can live free from sin, believe firmly that our healing is done because the Healer lives within us. Now, what about that manifestation thing?

Manifest/manifestation means seized by the hand, evident to the senses, obvious to the understanding, and not obscure to mention a few. Some synonyms include open, clear, visible, and self evident. Manifest means obvious. It means so evident as to arrest attention. When a blind person gets their sight, when a deaf person begins to hear, when a crippled person gets up out of a wheel chair, that will get your attention. It’s obvious something manifested.

We are supernatural beings clothed in a physical body. We are not human beings having a supernatural experience, we are supernatural beings having a human experience. The Supernatural lifestyle is the normal Christian life. The key or access to the supernatural realm with any kind of regularity is the renewed mind. It boils down to right believing. Seeing things from God’s perspective and resting there. Wow!!!!!!! Don’t miss the teaching “The Renewed Mind”, posted on this website June 18 and 20, 2020.

God doesn’t do anything in the natural realm He hasn’t already done in the supernatural. Remember that scripture in Matthew 16:19 and Matthew 18:18? In both those there is a statement that says “Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven”.

The words shall be in the Greek is the word “esomai” which is a derivative of the verb “to be” or “to exist”. So, in essence this scripture is saying “whatsoever you bind on earth is already bound in heaven, and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth is already loosed in heaven”.

Here it is in the NAS version: “Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.” Now I don’t know about you, but that tells me it was already done in heaven. Looks like past tense to me.

To further justify this point, Matthew 6:10 says “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven”. God’s will is for whatever is in heaven to be in the earth, so why would He give us power to bind or loose something that is contrary to what is in heaven? Come on. Simple logic here. So this makes the point that nothing happens in the natural realm that isn’t already in the supernatural realm.

When he said “thy will be done on earth…………….” He was telling us to seek what is already done in the supernatural realm. Command it to be brought into the visible natural realm. Uncover it, bring it into the open, make it clear and visible, make it self evident, so as to arrest the attention of myself and all those around me. Well glory hallelujah!!! That is a good place to shout.

This is how God gets glory. He doesn’t get glory out of sickness. “Well, God allowed this sickness. I’m suffering for His glory.” Give me a pentecostal break. God never gets glory out of sickness.

Here they come. “Ya but, the bible says we have to suffer”. Really? Somebody needs to study the bible and quit reading it if that’s what they believe. The suffering the bible speaks about that we as Christians are to experience is not physical sickness (3 John 2; 1 Peter 2:24). It is suffering the afflictions of condemnation for being an expresser of the gospel. And the gospel is the gospel of grace.

It’s the gospel of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. It’s the gospel of Jesus. It’s the gospel of truth. Will you suffer persecution from people for teaching and preaching the glorious, ridiculous, radical, inexhaustible, non-performance, non-works oriented grace of God? Absolutely!

People are so intent on trying to perform under the law and be made right with God through their works. God has done way too much to free us from that, to reward us for it.

    Philippians 1:28 – 30 Amplified.

28 and do not [for a moment] be frightened or intimidated in anything by your opponents and adversaries, for such [constancy and fearlessness] will be a clear sign (proof and seal) to them of [their impending] destruction, but [a sure token and evidence] of your deliverance and salvation, and that from God.

29 For you have been granted [the privilege] for Christ’s sake not only to believe in (adhere to, rely on, and trust in) Him, but also to suffer in His behalf.

Now I want you to know that we have been given this privilege. It’s not a burden, it’s a privilege. My wife and I have been given the revelation to teach and preach the Grace of God. It’s a privilege.

Do we receive persecution for that? Absolutely. But when you see someone get it and get set free from bondage to religion and legalism, it’s a great gift and privilege to be part of that. Stopping here for now, but we will continue with much more truth surrounding this matter of manifestation in part 2. Grace and Peace.
