A Line in the Sand

  • A Line in the Sand

For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory. (2 Corinthians 1:20 ESV)

What we see with our eyes is not always the reality that is. The enemy works continuously to deceive us. Reality is always with God, and He has called us to trust in Him and to obey His Word. This requires faith. Thankfully, if we ask, He will give us the faith we need to trust Him.

When we are troubled and full of anxiety, we can go to His Word that says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid” (John 14:27 ESV).

When we feel weak and weary, we can go to His Word that says, “but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31 ESV).

Is it time for you to draw a line in the sand and take back what the enemy has stolen? You do this by relying on His Word and knowing that His promises are always good.

“God never made a promise that was too good to be true.” - D.L. Moody
