We are not meant to be in isolation. God designed us to be in fellowship with each other. We are His body. A body has many parts: head, arms, legs, torso, etc. Each part has a purpose. As the body of Christ, each of us have a special purpose in the Kingdom of God.
During this difficult time, we are missing the physical face-to-face interaction of our friends and family. For those of us who are huggers, not being to display physical affection is painful. Thankfully, with all the technology of today we can have face-to-face conversations via a wide array of media.
Even though we may not be able to assemble as the body of Christ in a physical way, we are still able to reach out to each other and share encouragement, laughs and virtual hugs. We may be isolated temporarily in a physical sense, but having fellowship with each other is still possible. Make it a point to reach out to someone today and tell them that you care. You might just be the part of the body they need.
Satan always hates Christian fellowship; it is his policy to keep Christians apart. Anything which can divide saints from one another he delights in. He attaches far more importance to godly intercourse than we do. Since union is strength, he does his best to promote separation.
