John 14:27 - [Jesus said], 'Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

So you see God gave us a gift.  He gave us a gift called peace.  The peace of God, the peace from God, the peace with God.  He said, "I give it to you.'  So you don't have to earn it.

There's another gift He gave us.  He said, "enter into rest."  (Hebrews 4:3)

He gave you rest.  Now people are waiting for rest to enter into them. No, you enter into it and you can't enter into that rest if you're grieving

Now if someone has passed away in your family and you're grieving, you should miss them. It would be totally wrong for you not to miss them. But you shouldn't grieve for them. The human brain, the human body, the human mind are not designed to handle grief. That's why you've got to go to doctors and things, and that kind of stuff. It causes all kinds of stress. So Jesus took it and you don't have to have it.
