In another season in my life, I also ran a successful environmentally friendly cleaning service, which grew by leaps and bounds. I was generating a good income and had several employees, but after many years of constantly on the run, with very little time off, it left me exhausted and burned out. I was overworked with no time to enjoy my life.
Fast forward to today. When my season of care giving ended, I decided it was now time to take new steps towards my long awaited dreams to be realized. I made the decision that disappointments from the past were no longer going to delay me. I was waiting for my dreams, but my dreams were waiting for me. I wanted to have a steady stream of daily pay and work remotely, so that I would have more time and money to travel, have the home I desired and to invest more in the missions and ministries that I cared about.
