Overview
Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, "In the woods, we return to reason and faith. There I feel that nothing can befall me in life, - no disgrace, no calamity (leaving me my eyes), which nature cannot repair. "
My dad always said that out in nature was where his church was, that it was when gardening, camping, or walking through nature that he felt closest to the Lord. In my heart I know the Lord is always with me but when I am out in the garden or taking a walk everything around me reminds me of Him. As I inhale the aroma of flowers, I know He designed everything to be a blessing.
Ultimately our surroundings, what we eat, and what we think impacts us physically, mentally and emotionally, so it was during some of my hardest times that the Lord got me started on Gairdin Spreagtha.
