God is the perfect picture of the perfect father. We all have fathers in some form or another. Some fathers are absolutely loving, a father that we can go to and tell our deepest concerns. Others have had cruel fathers: father’s that have struggled themselves with being loved and loving. And then there are the fathers who loved us and did the best they could but in spite of that we were wounded. And yes, I won’t forget that there are absent fathers: the fathers who were not there for us at all.
Our spiritual Enemy, Satan wants us to believe that Father God is just like our imperfect earthly fathers. He will do anything to keep us from knowing our loving Father!
I see many crying out for the father. Know today that God sees your tears, he knows your pain, His compassionate heart is loving you. Let him hold you and heal you today!
