3 The farmer went out to sow his seed
4 The farmer scattered his seed and some fell along long the path and the birds came in and ate it up.
5 Some of the seed fell on rocky places where it did not have much the soil and sprang up quickly because the soil was shallow, 6 and when the sun came up the plants were scorched and withered because they had no root.
7 The other seed fell among the thorns which grew up and chocked up the plants.
8 Still the other seed fell on good soil where it produced a crop a 100, 60 or 30 times that was sown.
9Whoever has ears let him hear.
God gives us seed (His seed)and what we do with His seed is our choice!!
Do we scatter God’s seed along the path for birds to eat?
Do we scatter God’s seed on the rocky places where there is not much soil in there, and is scorched by the sun and withered?
Do we scatter God’s Seed among the thorns which choke it up?
Or do we scatter God’s seed where we produce a crop 100, 60 or 30 times what was sown?
God wants to give us knowledge. He wants to give more, and He wants to give us an abundance.
God wants us to hear and see what He has for us.
He wants us to understand Him and not let the enemy snap away what God has sown in our hearts (this is the seed that is sown along the path that the birds snatch away)
God wants us to hear His word more than just once and not just receive it once with joy( this is the seed thrown on a rocky ground and it only lasts a short time and quickly falls away when trouble comes)
God does not want us to worry and let the thorns choke up the worries of our lives, making it unfruitful and where they choked up.
God wants us to scatter His seed on good soil so we hear His voice and understand His word, so we can produce a crop, yielding 100, 60, or 30 times that was sown!!
Wow!! Ask God to help you sow “YOUR” seed, and He will help you grow it on His good “SOIL”.
