I apologize for being late posting this week’s Parashat. This week we read new leadership is coming. A leader who will win battles. A leader who will take over property who is possessed by the enemy. Then the whole congregation reads the entire word of God. We are to remind ourselves of the covenant we agreed too. Then the failure of man is predicted. Let’s face it, we as fallen man are destined to fail when we turn our focus away from God. We are now in the Holiest time of year the Days of Awe. This is a time to come back to the Lord. A time to make the King of the Universe the King of your Universe.

We are in a season of releasing what is in our hand to the Lord. The rest of this month look for opportunities to give. It can be as small as buying someone a cup of coffee. It can be large gifts. However look for opportunities everyday through out the rest of September to give. This is not a season of one and done. It is a season of charity.
