I started the "Write Your Story" group, because I know there are writers out there who have something to offer, who like hearing new ideas, and like meeting people with their same passion. This is a group of folks who definitely have something to say, have new worlds to introduce us to, and appreciate feedback.
  
  Writing doesn't have to be a major undertaking. I know one of my future plans is to write a children's book for my grandkids... (Hey, I better get busy before they're too old to appreciate it!) Anyway, you may want to write a memoir based on your life. I am planning on this myself. You might just want to write down your story for your family, so the future generations will know you. You might just keep journals for yourself. There are so many ways a writer uses their gift. So, if you can answer, "YES" to any of the statements below then this group is going to benefit you, and you will definitely benefit others!
  
  Is writing your thing? Do you have the urge to put your experiences on paper? Do you journal a lot? Do you have story lines and characters hogging up all your free time? This is one of my daily "tribulations." I have written and published one book, and the sequel is in process, but I'm already planning the next one! If you love researching a topic or love history and want to write your own take on events. Do you enjoy learning about things that pique your interest or sharing the "real" story behind the mystery by digging through the hearsay? If any of this describes you, then you're a writer! That's your form of art! This is definitely your group, so come aboard and bless us with your wisdom and take on things! You'll meet and talk to people who are just like you. You'll learn things and teach things. You're invaluable!.
