Marilynn always has been and always will be, a societal rebel, even within the Body of Christ at times. She operates in the prophetic along the lines of Jeremiah and Exekiel, as opposed to many who feel warnings and exhortations are not for the modern church. Marilynn regularly asks the Holy Spirit for wisdom, insight, foresight, understanding and discernment, which often puts her in a different perspective from which to see the world and what is going on around her.
Lastly, Marilynn is a passionate hermit! She will sit in the corner of the room watching everyone around her, not inserting herself into any conversations. However, engage her in a conversation she just happens to be passionate about, and she'll talk for hours! Place her in a supervisory position and she'll then wander the room making sure everyone has what they need, but she doesn't do small talk. Service with a smile, but a hard line against anything she deems to be contrary to the whole counsel of God. In recent years her health has gotten in the way of engaging in debates to show those refusing to widen their favourite list of Scriptures on given topics why the whole counsel of God must be engaged with more deeply. Staunch Reformers exhaust and sadden her as a result, just as one very current example.
