This week we start the Parashats over. We are in Genesis. I love the book of Genesis there is so much hidden in this book. Almost every book of the Bible points us back to this book. Just the first 3 verses of Genesis introduce us to the Trinity.
Genesis 1:1-3
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
(We are introduced to God the Father)
The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
(We are now introduced to the Spirit of God aka the Holy Spirit. Now how are we introduced to the Holy Spirit? We are introduced to Him hovering over the water, hence when we see water in the Bible it can be a symbol of the Holy Spirit.)
Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.”
(Jesus is called the light of the world. Before God created anything on the Earth, He 1st established the LIGHT He would work through to create the Earth. Now we look at John 1:1-5. We see that Jesus is the word. John tells us that He, Jesus, was with the Father when the world was created and everything was created through Him.)
There is so much hidden in this book of the Bible. The 1st word of the Bible is BERESHIT it is where we get in the beginning. Rock Island Books has a great video that shows the prophecy that this one word predicts which is very interesting. I also suggest you watch my video on the 2nd letter of the Hebrew Alphabet which I have posted below.
