    It is not possible to invite your friends on Facebook (or any other social media program) DIRECTLY from XAPiT. However, there is a way to send invitations to people you know that are not already on XAPiT… here is how:

    * Login to XAPiT and click the "MORE ..." link at the right side of the teal bar near the top of the email.

    * Select “Invite”.

    * On the page that appears, you can invite up to (10) people by entering their email addresses in the box using the instruction at the top of the page. If you wish to invite more than (10) people, you will need to repeat this process with up to (10) email addresses each time you do it. When you have entered the email addresses and entered the custom message you want to send, make sure you check the box under the Custom Message box, then finally, click the blue “Send Invites” button.

    To share a post from someone’s else’s profile to your own, you will first need to make sure your settings have this feature activated. Here’s how…

    Go to the SETTINGS page (looks like a “gear” symbol at the top right corner of the XAPiT page). Click “Privacy”. Scroll to the section marked “Recent Activity Privacy”, then find the option marked “Shared” and make sure there is a check in the box to the left of “Shared”. Finally, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the blue “Save Changes” button. Sharing the posts of other members to your profile should now work perfectly!

    Navigate to the groups page by clicking Groups in the navigation bar.




    Next, click to view your own groups by clicking on the link text for My Groups.




    Once, you have successfully navigated to and chosen your group from which to approve new member requests to, click to go to the Members tab, and then click on the link text for See Waiting




    From there you will be able to view anyone who has requested member to join your group.


    To approve or reject any member who has requested to join, simply click to approve or reject their request that will display to the right of their profile and they will be granted membership to your group.

    If you’ve ever received a friend request from another user and chosen to ignore or decline it, the member who sent you the friend request, will not be notified that you declined their friend request. However, they will be able to send you another friend request in the future.

    On the other hand, you choose to take no action on the request, they will be unable to send you another friend request.

    When they view your profile, it will display to them that they may cancel the friend request, or that a friend request is currently pending, at least until you either officially ignore or accept the request.

    How to Delete Your Account


    Navigate to your Personal Page.




    Select the Settings option and select Delete Account from the menu that displays.




    Select the button that states Yes, Delete My Account to confirm deletion of your account.




    Your account will be immediately deleted and you will be logged out after the account deletion is complete. ALL posts and comments you made on the site will be deleted as well.


    If for whatever reason you are unable to delete your account, please email XAPiT Support at support@xapit.com and we will be happy to assist you.

    If you would like to make a change to your name, email address or username, please follow the instructions shown below.


    Changing Your Name:


    Navigate to your Personal Page.




    Select the blue Update Info button that’s to the right of your profile photo.




    You will be directed to an area which has text input areas for your first name, last name, and other personal information that you can choose if you like.




    After editing the text input for your first name and/or last name, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save button.




    Changing Your Email Address and Username/ Profile Address:


    Navigate to your Personal Page.




    Select and expand the Settings located to the right of your profile image, then click General.




    You will be directed to a page where you will be able to change your Email Address and your Profile Address/Username.


    After making those changes, click the save button on the bottom of the page and your changes will take effect immediately.

    If you forgot your password, no worries! You will need to go through the following steps to reset your password. Please keep in mind you will need access to your email address to complete this process.


    Go to the Forgot Password link that’s displayed directly under the sign in area located in the top right corner of the XAPiT landing page.




    For easy access, this is the direct link to that item: https://xapit.com/user/auth/forgot


    On the page that you are directed to, you will enter your email address that is associated with your account and click "Send Email". An email will be sent to you with a link to reset your password. Make sure you check your junk and spam folders, just in case!




    Click the link listed in the email and you will be redirected back to XAPiT.com where you will be able to set a new password.




    To clarify, passwords our system will accept MUST be at least 6 characters.


    You will now be able to login to the site with your newly created password.

    Launch the XAPiT app from your phone once it is downloaded and installed.


    Click the Sign Up button on the LOWER RIGHT HAND CORNER.




    Fill in the given fields on the page that it displays on the next page as well as the checkbox required for accepting the Terms of Service. Those items are listed here: Email Address, Password, Password Again, and Timezone.

    Click to continue.


    Fill in your first name, last name and birthday as well as your city and state or country of residence and click the button to continue again.




    Next, you will be asked to upload a profile image, click to the checkbox in the upper right hand corner to save it, and a pop up will display saying that your account still requires email authentication.




    Email Verification


    The system will send an email verification to your email address you listed as your email address in the initial sign up process.


    Click that link in the email sent to verify your account and you will now be able to login and use XAPiT.

    The below process outlines how to delete a message thread between yourself and another user:


    Navigate to your Messages, by clicking the envelope icon located towards the top right side of the page




    Go to the message thread in question that you want to delete and click the Delete text link in the upper right-hand corner of the message window.




    A pop-up window will appear and you will be asked to confirm the deletion by selecting the blue Delete button again. After clicking the "Delete" button, the entire message will be deleted and unrecoverable.

    Go to your Personal Page




    Click the Friends link on the lower navigation bar that’s to the right of your profile image.




    Locate the member you want to remove from your friends and click the Remove Friend hyperlink to the right of their profile card which displays their profile image.

    Browse to the member’s profile that you want to send a message to, and click the Send Message button located to the right of their profile image.




    A pop-up window will display giving you a text field to type a message to that member. There is also a window to enter a subject line.




    Click the blue Send Message button under the window and the message will be sent to that user.


    Note: If you are not friends with a member, you will not able to send them a message.

    To send a friend request to another member, go to their profile page and click the "ADD FRIEND" button to the right of their profile image to send them a friend request.




    Friend Requesting Mutual Friends


    You can also friend request members from your friend’s current friend list by going to their profile and clicking the Friends tab that is to the right of their profile image.

    When signing up for XAPiT, you should have been emailed over a verification email to verify your account.

     

    If you’ve lost that email or for whatever reason that link does not work when clicked on, please email XAPiT Support at support@xapit.com and we will make the necessary steps with you to get your account verified.

     

    After verifying your account, you will be able to login and use the site and/ or mobile apps.

    Navigate in your web browser to XAPiT.com.


    Fill in the 4 text fields listed under “Create a New Account,” which are as follow: Email, Password, and Password Again.


    You must also click the checkbox to agree to our Terms of Service.




    To clarify on passwords our system will accept, they MUST be of at least 6 characters, but no greater than 32 characters.


    After you initially fill in those fields, you'll then be asked to fill in your First Name, Last Name, Birthday as well as your City and State or Country of residence.




    Lastly, you will be asked to upload a profile photo.




    Email Verification of Account


    The system will send an email verification to your email address you listed as your email address in the initial sign up process.


    Click that link in the email sent to verify your account and you will now be able to login and use XAPiT.

    Changing Your Email Address


    Maybe you changed to a new email provider and you need to update your information. Whatever the reason, you can change the email address associated with your XAPiT account. Here's how.


    Navigate to your Personal Page.




    Click Settings, located next to your profile image and then click General.




    Enter a new email address in the given field and click save changes.




    If you’re attempting to do this from the app you’ll need to click to open the menu whether you’re in the Android or iOS app and scroll down and select Settings then to go to General and type in and save a new email address in the field provided.

    Click Settings next to your profile image and click to go to the Change Password




    Enter your old password and new password.


    Click Change Password.
